1. General
This website is operated by Tatjana Iljaseviciute (private); By visiting our website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. Products
We sell digital products: hand embroidery patterns, tutorials, guides and e-books in PDF format. Product descriptions and images are provided to be as accurate as possible. Colours of finished embroidery may vary slightly depending on your screen, threads and fabric. Finished results depend on your materials and skill and are not guaranteed.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in euro (or the currency selected at checkout) and include applicable taxes such as VAT where required. Payment is processed securely through Shopify’s checkout and the payment methods shown at checkout and the payment methods shown at checkout. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to change prices at any time. A price change does not affect orders already completed.
4. Delivery
Digital products are delivered by download link, shown after payment and sent to the email address you provide at checkout. See our "Shipping and Delivery Policy" for details.
5. Right of withdrawal and refunds
Because our products are digital content delivered immediately, you lose your right of withdrawal once the download or access has begun, after you have given your express consent at checkout. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
6. Licence and intellectual property
All patterns, designs, text, photographs and other content are the property of Practical Embroidery and are protected by copyright. When you buy a product you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:
- print the pattern and use it for your own personal embroidery projects;
- sell, in small quantities, items you have embroidered yourself from our patterns, provided you credit “Practical Embroidery” as the source of the design.
You may not: resell, share, distribute, upload or publish the PDF files or patterns (in whole or in part, in digital or printed form); claim the designs as your own; or use them for mass production or commercial licensing.
7. Account and customer information
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when ordering. Your personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Prohibited uses
You may not use the website for unlawful purposes, attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems, or introduce viruses or other harmful code.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Products are provided “as is” for hobby and educational use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Practical Embroidery is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer or our liability where it cannot be limited by law.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence. The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this website at the time of your order applies to that order.
